The ClearView checkering handle is simply the best checkering handle ever made. The two ¼ inch shafts give the user a clear view of both the front and rear of the cutter, while at the same time giving a rigid shaft that has no flex in it. When checkering over cross grain, or a highly figured piece of wood, other handles will flex and vibrate a little, leaving a small chatter mark. The ClearView’s ridged handles virtually eliminate this problem. A fully adjustable head allows you to set the angle of the cutter to your personal tastes. Loosen the screws at the front, and the head can be rotated a full 360 degrees. Then dial in the cutter with the fine adjustment screws to meet your specific needs. This handle is designed to be used with Ullman Precision Products ClearView carbide cutters and our spacing tools.
